Chiara Wirz helps founders, leadership teams, and in-house counsel turn AI, data, and privacy questions into practical business decisions. Her approach starts with understanding what the client wants to achieve; then identifying the risks that matter, explaining the options clearly, and carrying the work through to the execution phase aligned with the client’s business priorities.

With nearly a decade of legal and business experience in the United States and Europe, Chiara brings both the adviser’s perspective and the pragmatic mindset of in-house counsel at large and small companies. At a Fortune 500 company (eBay), she supported major product and compliance initiatives to meaningfully enhance the company-wide privacy and corporate governance posture, built a global privacy program for a fast-growing subsidiary, and co-led AI transformation within the legal function. She later served as the startup general counsel of a technology startup. Her earlier private practice experience includes advising multi-national organizations on data protection, employment, immigration, and corporate matters at two leading Swiss Law firms, Homburger and Walder Wyss, in Zurich.

Chiara is a lawyer admitted to practice in California and Switzerland. She also holds a Professional Master of Business Administration (MBA), complementing her legal background with formal training in business strategy and management. She is IAPP-certified (CIPP/US, CIPP/E, AIGP), a published author, and a frequent speaker on AI governance, digital regulation, privacy, and related topics.
